How to find us

The Vitaurina Royal Hotel is situated in the Tauferer Tal Valley, the first section of the Tauferer Ahrntal Valley, which goes from Bruneck city to Sand in Taufers. The Tauferer Ahrntal Valley lies in the Pustertal Valley, in the east of the South Tyrol region and can be easily reached via the Brenner Motorway.

Journey on the A22/Brenner Motorway:

No matter if you are coming from south or north, on the A22 you take the exit called “Brixen/Vahrn” and follow the road signs in the direction of Bruneck/Pustertal.

Having reached Bruneck, follow the signs towards Ahrntal for another 12 km. Drive through the valleys St. Georgen, Gais and Uttenheim until you reach Mühlen in Taufers. Leave the village centre behind until you reach the junction “Mühlwald/Lappach” and turn to the left. Follow the street course and turn left at the first branching at the public playground. Now you are on the Peintenweg street, which directly leads you to us.

Why don't you plan your holidays without car?

With the new Holidaypass you can use all public transports means in the whole Puster-Valley free of charge.

From Germany, Austria and Italia we have really good train connections to Franzensfeste/Fortezza. There you have to change train which goes in direction to Innichen/San Candido. Get out of the train in Bruneck/Brunico and take the bus number 450 "Oberhollenzer" to the Ahrn Valley (leaves every 30 minutes on weekdays and every hour during the weekend) to Mühlen/Molini di Tures.
If you prefere a taxi transfer from the railway station directly to our Hotel click here and book it online:

An overview of all of the train connections to South Tyrol can be found on trainline.com.

Arriving by plane:

South Tyrol airport is located at Bolzano. The closest airports are Innsbruck to the north, Venice and Verona to the south. Flight connections are extensive and allow travellers to travel independently. South Tyrol is less than two hours by car from Verona and Innsbruck.

Additional airports in the area include: Munich, Treviso, Bergamo and Milan.

Starting in the next few weeks, partial closures are planned for some major transport routes, which may affect your travels. If you have to drive on the Reschenpass state road, the Lueg bridge on the Austrian side of the Brenner motorway, or use the Puster Valley railway line between Franzensfeste and Bruneck, we suggest you follow the updates on this page.

The planned works are necessary to improve the safety and efficiency of the infrastructure, ensuring safer and more comfortable travel in the future. It is therefore essential to stay informed and plan your travels in advance to avoid any unpleasant surprises. By investing a little time now, you can avoid future inconvenience, and support a safer and more reliable transport network for your next trips.
